Thunderbird it is

After lot of deliberation, I am closing on Thunderbird. It would be Silver/Black

Why Thunderbird and not any other bike?

Here is my reasoning:

  • Good engine capacity – riding at 80-90kmph should not be an issue. I intend to go on long rides. So power is an essential feature
  • Stable at higher speeds.
  • Aluminium engine – better mileage. I don’t contribute much towards pollution.
  • Cruiser styling – comfortable for longer rides. Splicing through the city traffic could be little tougher
  • Has a fuel indicator (machismo doesn not have it)

The next question is – when do I buy it? May be in November/December. I need to arrange for some 1,02,000 rupees :)

    Hi !

    thanks for your great idea. I just came back form my first Rnfield Bullet 500 trip.
    Kathmandu to Tibet Border today and I realised that I really want to bike in asia. Next year.

    I decided to give also like you a name to my trip it will be :
    KKKK TRIP or 4K TRIP.

    Kathmandu
    Kanniyakumari
    Kashmir
    Kabul

    I am leaving presently in Nepal and I come from Canada ( French part )
