I purchased Olympus C765 UZ in July 2004 when I was in Germany. Almost 7 months back my camera charger started malfunctioning. I did not bother much as I was busy trekking and I always believed that photography during treks reduces the joy of trekking.
Most of my treks are not documented and I don’t have any pictures of them. Even my trek to the Himalayas is not captured in my camera. Kaushik and Diwakr (my younger brothers) used the camer extensively in their treks and UK trip. But I lost complete interest in photography and my camers specially for a while.
Last month I saw Kosha’s album on Orkut. It was an accident. But I requested her to engage a session on the basics of photography for MR team. Today we had that session in cubbon park @ 7:00AM.
I asked Diwakar to buy a new charger, memory card and an additional battery for my camera. After today’s session, I went through the manual completel. I was never aware that a basic camera like mine had so many features.
I am waiting to apply today’s gyan in yedakumeri trek.
